Agrovista is a national agrochemical distributor offering an extremely high level of agronomic and technical advice aimed at maximising farmers' margins. All Agrovista agronomists are trained to the highest level and are MRPPA registered. They are continually updated on every aspect of farming practice to enable them to offer the highest standard of advice to ensure ACT account holders are at the forefront of new technology.
THE BEST TECHNICAL ADVICE
Agrovista runs it's own independent trials, currently exceeding 15,000 replicated plots, from which the results are available to ACT account holders through their local Agrovista agronomist. These trials, on which all field recommendations are based, form the most comprehensive trials series in the UK.Agrovista Select Agronomy trials cover fungicides, plant growth regulators, herbicides, wetters, additives and trace elements and are designed to help make the most cost-effective use of products available to the farmer. Dose response is studied foreach product by weed, disease and variety so the Agrovista agronomist can advise on the most cost-effective rates, mixtures and product sequences to maximise farm margins.
Select Agronomy trials also include new products not yet commercially available so that, by the time they are launched, full information is available on the best use of the product. The trials take place across the UK and cover cereals, pulses, OSR, grassland, maize and potatoes.
All this information enables the Agrovista agronomists to make practical farm recommendations helping ACT account holders to achieve the highest possible gross margins for their farm.
