| ACT is a major supplier of Cane Molasses and Molasses blends in bulk and barrels. The best terms are secured by contracting in July or August for Autumn/Winter requirements. Deliveries are in 10 or 20 tonne loads or, in some areas, mini-bulk. Molassesis far more than a silage sweetener. The soluble energy and protein content encourages the maximum use of home-grown forage, increasing intakes by up to 9%. Molasses is highly versatile. It can be fed in Complete Diet Feeders, forage boxes, down the trough or via lick wheel or ball feeders. ACT can also offer low cost, interest free purchase schemes for storage tanks.
