"I was really surprised how quickly it came through," says Brian, "the dust was flying when we drilled it."

Both leys came through in 7-10 days and have established really well. In fact there was so much grass that Brian had to graze it off with sheep before the winter.

Brian, who reseeds every 3 years to maintain the productivity of the grassland, decided to use Integral treated seed because of the difficulty in getting clovers established. "Its normally a bit hit and miss," he says, "but with Integral every single seed must have germinated."
