FORAGE PEAS
Modern varieties of forage peas are semi- leafiess, high yielding and high in protein. They have good standing ability right through to harvest.

The crop is fast growing, needing only 11 -1 4 weeks to harvest with a fresh weight of 15-20 tonnes per acre and a protein level of 18-20%.

The semi-leafiess nature of the crop means that the extra tendrils bind onto the other plants providing an excellent self-standing canopy.

Grass can easily be sown under forage peas because the semi-leafless nature allows more light to get through to the emerging seedling grasses.

Supplied in 25kg bags
Sow at 50-90kg per acre or 40kg per acre if undersown with grass.
