Arable Silage

These mixtures of peas (high in protein) and cereals (high in starch) can produce high yields of well balanced quality forage. They are also a fantastic way of providing a nurse crop for spring sown grass seed mixures.

Arable Silage can give yields of 12-15 tonnes of fresh material per acre and be ready to cut in 12-14 weeks from sowing. Sown in March it can be fed as fresh cut material in mid-summer or ensiled for use throughout the winter.

A proven blend of 60% peas and 40% spring barley, capable of producing high yields of good quality silage.

Similar to No.1 but with a higher cereal content. Also suitable for undersowing with grass seed mixtures.

A more traditional blend of Oats, Barley and Peas.
